Education

As part of its ongoing education programme, the Handel House Museum runs a lively series of events. Based around Handel, his music and his time, the programme includes live music recitals, practical music making, workshops, study days, children's events and tours for a wide range of visitors. The Museum has developed relationships with other arts organisations to offer a great variety of events of the highest quality.

The Museum also runs a Schools Workshop Programme with curriculum-based music, art and drama projects. Past projects have focused on objects in the Museum; Handel's ceremonial music such as the Coronation Anthems (for the Jubilee), the Water Music and the Fireworks Suites; a multicultural interpretation of Brockes Passion; jazz in a baroque structure and a GCSE music technology project Handel and Hendrix.
