Open House at Handel House

Sunday 21 September, 12noon – 6pm, last admission strictly at 5.30pm

Open House London is an annual event, allowing visitors free entry to London's buildings, old and new, some of which are not normally open to the public.  Today Handel House will be free to visitors all day with live baroque music to whisk you back to 18th-century London.  There is also another rare opportunity to tour Jimi Hendrix's flat at the top of 23 Brook Street, where he lived between 1968 and 1969.  Visitors can only visit the Hendrix flat via guided tour which must be pre-booked.

Tickets: Free, but visitors must book for  the Hendrix flat tours

Hendrix flat tours:  ALL TOURS ARE SOLD OUT.  Maximum of 15 people per tour group (Booking opens 11 August 2008, no bookings before this date will be taken)

Hendrix tours booking line and Open House enquiries: 020 7495 1685

Please note: The Hendrix flat is not wheelchair accessible.  A reasonable amount of agility is needed for this tour and comfortable shoes should be worn as there are a few flights of stairs to climb to reach the flat.

If visiting the Handel House, please limit your visit to 1 hour to allow as many people as possible to take part in this opportunity.
